How it works

Three taps from opening the app to saving money.

01

Open and see deals near you

Your feed sorts every live discount by walking distance. No catalogs, no wasted trips — just what's cheap right now, close to you.

02

The community keeps it honest

Anyone can confirm a deal is still valid or flag it as expired — Waze-style, for grocery prices. The more confirmations, the more confident you can be.

03

Spot one? Snap the price tag

Point your camera at a shelf tag and we read the product and price for you. Share it in seconds and help everyone save.

Every deal, in detail

Know exactly what you'll save, and where.

Tap any deal for the full picture — current price, original price, how much you save, the store, and a map pin to get you there.

  • Real savings math, not marketing percentages
  • Store hours and walking distance at a glance
Contribute in seconds

See a price drop? The app does the typing.

Snap the shelf tag and DealHunters reads the product and price automatically. Pick the store, submit, done — optional details only if you want them.

  • Photo-first: camera or gallery
  • Auto-detected product and prices
  • Flag club-card pricing and bundle deals
Trust, built in

The community keeps deals honest.

Every community deal shows how many shoppers have confirmed it's still valid, so you can judge it at a glance. Reliable hunters earn standing over time, so good deals rise and wrong ones fade — fast.

Questions

Common questions

How does DealHunters find grocery deals near me?
DealHunters sorts every live supermarket discount by walking distance from your current location, so you only see deals you can actually reach. We only use your location while the app is open — never in the background, and never sold.
Who verifies the deals?
Two kinds of deals appear in your feed. Official deals come straight from the store or its published flyer, and are labeled as such. Community deals are ones shoppers spotted in the aisle — and anyone can confirm one is still valid or flag it as expired, right from the deal card. You'll always see how many shoppers have confirmed a community deal, so you can judge it for yourself. Either way, no one can pay to push a deal up, bury a bad one, or fake a confirmation. Confirmations come from real shoppers — they can't be bought.
Is DealHunters free?
Yes — browsing deals is free. Your feed is ranked by relevance and community trust. Ranking is never for sale. If we ever show promoted or official-retailer content, it's clearly labeled as such and kept separate from the trusted-deals ranking.
When can I download DealHunters?
The app is in the final stretch of development and is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Leave your email in the Notify me form and we'll send you one email the moment it launches.
